Petsense

Pet health monitoring app that aims to empower and support pet owners through predictive AI, IoT sensors, and wearable technology.

Overview

Supporting pet owners is key to improving the health and well-being of pets. Pet owners need systems that provide health data and empower them to proactively manage their pets' wellbeing.

This design aims to empower and support pet owners with real-time health insights through a mobile app that integrates predictive AI, IoT sensors, and wearable technology.

Understanding what people want

To empathize with pet owners and fully understand their needs, a mixed-methods approach was employed, integrating qualitative and quantitative techniques to gather comprehensive data.

  • Literature reviews: Analyzed information on technology and opportunities in health and pet care

  • Interviews with potential users: To empathize with pet owners and fully understand their needs, I first conversed with them to hear their experiences and pain points.

  • Survey sent out to the public: Distributed a supplementary survey to collect data on specific pain points and needs.

The Making of Petsense
